Where is Brahma Blue located?
Belize Barrier Reef, the second-longest reef in the world, is dotted with over 450 Belize islands and islets. The islands of Belize are called cayes, which is pronounced “keys” (like the Florida Keys).
Brahma Blue Is located on Ambergris Caye, which is Belize’s biggest island and is situated in the nation’s northwest seas.
The island, which advertises itself as an island of “adventure and leisure” (and holds true to its claim), is the most popular tourist attraction in Belize. The town of San Pedro is renowned for some of Belize’s top dive and snorkel spots and is protected by the second-largest barrier reef. The island is populated by welcoming natives, content tourists, and vendors who will make you feel right at home!
After a visit to charming and popular San Pedro, head to the dock and hop on a 5-minute boat to escape the hustle and bustle of San Pedro, and head to secluded and intimate Brahma Blue.

HOW TO GET TO BELIZE
Philip Goldson International Airport is Belize’s main airport (BZE). All visitors from outside the country first arrive at this location before being flown or brought by boat to Ambergris Caye.
HOW TO REACH SAN PEDRO
BY AIR:
You can choose to hop on an island hopper flight from the Philip Goldson International Airport (BZE) that will take you to San Pedro Airport. The cost is approximately $165.25 USD roundtrip per person.
BY PUBLIC WATER TAXI:
If you choose to go by water taxi, Brahma Blue will set you up with a shuttle from Philip Goldson Airport to the water taxi terminal in Belize City (approx. 30 mins drive). At the Ocean Ferry port, buy a ticket over the counter and board the next ferry (which takes about 90 minutes to San Pedro, and costs about $50 USD round-trip per person).
BY DIRECT WATER SHUTTLE:
Alternatively, Brahma Blue can also arrange a direct boat shuttle with Nautilus Express for a straight drop-off at their resort dock (boat ride time – about 75 minutes about approx. $140 USD roundtrip per person).
GETTING TO BRAHMA BLUE BELIZE
Once on the island, take a ground taxi to the Sunset Docks, where Brahma Blue’s boat Captain (Dino) will pick you up and transport you across the lagoon to the resort. They provide complimentary boat transfers back and forth between Brahma Blue and San Pedro Town, for their patrons and in-house guests. Once you arrive at the dock, you can enjoy a refreshing welcome drink at the Coconut Café.

The collection of opulent suites and villas at Brahma Blue offering sun-filled areas with views of the sea or the island’s lush gardens and scenery. At Brahma Blue, every room was created with your comfort in mind. All of the accommodation options have top-notch fixtures, stunning décor, and an atmosphere that lets you make yourself at home.
Brahma Blue has some truly exceptional accommodation options which I am going to summarize below. If you’re looking to splurge on a romantic getaway (or a family or friends group trip), one of their luxurious Playa Villas are a fantastic option and I can’t recommend them more!
PLAYA VILLAS
There are two Playa Villa mansions at Brahma Blue, each with 4 or 6 rooms and space you require to spend your Belize vacation, whether it is a family holiday, a friends escape, a honeymoon or anniversary getaway. Each offers beautiful views, and these residences are among the biggest and most opulent ones on the island. When you step inside, you’ll discover spacious bedrooms and baths, overlapping outside terraces, swimming pools that wrap around the building, roof-top lookouts, contemporary kitchens, and sizable indoor and outdoor entertainment areas.
3-Bedroom Penthouse Suites
One of the most modern island luxury properties that San Pedro has to offer, these 3 bedroom, 3 bath penthouses have a total of 3500 square feet floor plan located on the 4th floor.
Every detail was carefully selected and quality crafted, with a private deck and outdoor Jacuzzi overlooking the west coast beach, bird sanctuary, and unobstructed sunset views.

These two-bedroom suites are quiet and calm, perfect for those who want to unwind. They are located on floors two and three. A king-sized bed and an en suite bathroom are included in the master bedroom. A Queen-sized bed and a second bathroom are found in the guest bedroom. For a short or extended visit, the kitchen is fully-furnished. For optimal comfort, the living area has a dining counter, a family-sized couch, and a 32-inch smart TV. Direct access to the balcony facing and overlooking the sea is available from the living area, where you can kick back and unwind while taking in a stunning Belizean sunset.
2-Bedroom Garden Suites
These ground-floor two-bedroom suites are perfect for families with kids! A king-size bed and an en suite bathroom are included in the master bedroom. A Queen-size bed and a second bathroom can be found in the guest bedroom. Both a short-term and long-term stay are suitable for using the full featured kitchen.

Our Review of Brahma Blue as a Belize Honeymoon Resort
We absolutely loved our stay at Brahma Blue! Their private villas are absolutely to-die-for – complete luxury, and at a really good price point compared to other accomodations of this level. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the grounds were gorgeous, and being just a 5-minute boat ride away from San Pedro (yet completely away from the bustle) is truly the best of both worlds.
For a well-rounded visit to Ambergris Caye, I’d recommend first spending some time at a resort in the San Pedro area (such as at the lovely Victoria House, where we stayed) and then capping off the rest of your visit with a quiet and relaxed stay at Brahma Blue!
