After a night of wandering the famous San Jose Artwalk during our last evening in San Jose before leaving to La Paz, we headed to Don Sanchez for a gastronomic adventure to explore the vibrant flavors using local ingredients curated by the esteemed Chef Edgar Román.
It’s a great spot, and was the perfect place to end our relaxing trip to San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. I can now say it is one of our favorite restaurants!

It was our first time visiting Don Sanchez and we were blown away with every aspect of this restaurant, from the excellent service to the plethora of excellent menu options.
The open-air chic design, reminiscent of an entertainer’s stylish backyard hosting space, captivated our senses from the moment we arrived.
As we savored the diverse flavors of contemporary Mexican cuisine, live music enhanced the ambiance, creating a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.
Under the open sky, we embarked on a culinary journey inspired by the fresh bounty of the Baja California peninsula.
Don Sanchez, a true farm-to-table restaurant, takes pride in using locally sourced seafood and fresh fish from the Pacific Ocean, organic vegetables, and locally raised animals.
